Located on the company's Web site, www.handysource.com, the purchase order system was developed by HandySource engineers to eliminate errors and time inefficiencies that occur in the manual process while simplifying the creation of purchase orders through quicker automated functions. Instead of manually looking up vendor numbers, product numbers, and previous quantities ordered, purchasing managers are now three to four mouse clicks away from ordering MRO products using pre-existing and stored purchase orders in the Internet Purchase Order System.
Specifically, the HandySource online P.O. system features:
- The ability to save a purchase order as a template for repetitive orders;
- Customizable vendor secured database that stores names, addresses, account numbers, e-mail addresses, phone, and fax;
- History section that allows users to edit, re-submit, create new and track receiving from previously submitted purchase orders;
- Consecutive purchase order numbers that are generated through user preferences;
